Being a doula and giving women support is my heart's work.
But it Doesn't Define Me...
Hi! I'm Kate and owner of Full Moon Wellness and Birth. I am a South Jersey native, a wife, and a mother to my four sweet boys, Nash, Wade, & twin boys Clay & Jace.
Being a yoga instructor, a mother and going through pregnancy myself sparked a passion for helping women and mothers-to-be incorporate mindfulness and movement into their journey through pregnancy and beyond to help women feel their best in mind, body and spirit.
Through my own journey through child birth, I came to realize how important it is for women and their partners to feel supported, nurtured and informed of all of their options. I went on to become a Certified Labor Doula through ProDoula, Placenta Encapsulator, and a Childbirth Educator in Hypnobirthing Method- the Mongan Method through Hypnobirthing International.
I am truly honored that my small team of doulas and myself are able to help women and their partners in the South Jersey and Philadelphia grow their family through the best pregnancy and birth experiences possible.

Hi! I'm Julia
Hi I’m Julia! I’m a Philadelphia native and avid birth enthusiast. My passion for birth work started after watching the documentary The Business of Being Born. I believe that birth is a normal, natural, and healthy function of the body and it should be celebrated with patience and care. Women are unique and birth is no different! You deserve to have a support system that values that uniqueness and encourages you to trust your instincts. Certified through DONA & The HypnoBirthing Institute, I hope to journey with you throughout your pregnancy and birth.
When I’m not doula-ing, you can find me at your local thrift store, reading a good book, baking bread or watching historical documentaries.

Hi! I'm Emma
Hi, I’m Emma! Im a full spectrum doula & womb wisdom practitioner who believes that birth is a profound rite of passage that deserves reverence, care, and deep trust. I have been totally obsessed and completely enamored by the miracle of birth since I was very young. I believe that the world will change when women walk through their birth feeling empowered, not afraid. And I want women to know that there is so much more available to them than the standard of care we are offered. I don’t see the female body as a problem to fix. Birth, to me, is not a dangerous, fragile condition that needs constant management. It is not a pathology, but a superpower. As a birth worker, I believe my job is to walk a woman back towards herself — to her values, her instincts, and her innate physiological design. When we are trusted and held with reverence through this rite of passage, birth will mirror to a woman the kind of strength that is meant to fortify her in motherhood. I’m here to serve as a guide, ensure you are making informed choices, are in a consensual relationship with your care team, and to put your birth back in your wise hands.

Hi! I'm Emily
Hi, I’m Emily — a birth doula based in South Jersey, proudly serving families throughout the area, including parts of Delaware and Pennsylvania. Being a doula truly feels like my calling. I’ve always been drawn to caring for others, and supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum has become one of the deepest honors of my life.
With an RN from Rowan College of South Jersey and a BSN from Wilmington University, I bring a strong healthcare foundation to my doula practice. My nursing background has given me a solid understanding of both the physical and emotional sides of childbirth — knowledge I now blend with the heart-centered, intuitive care that doula work allows.
I’m trained and certified through DONA International, and I’m passionate about helping mamas feel seen, supported, and empowered in their birth experiences. My goal is to create a calm, grounded space where families feel informed, confident, and truly held throughout their journey.
I serve all types of families, all with different goals and ideal births in mind. I strive to get each family the birth they want and deserve. I offer compassionate support to families who have experienced loss, holding space with sensitivity, care, and deep respect for each unique journey. No one should walk that journey alone.
Outside of birth work, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with my husband and our two little ones here in South Jersey. They’re my biggest inspiration and a daily reminder of the powerful transformation that comes with welcoming new life.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you in this journey of parenthood and help welcome your sweet, new babe into the world.

What Parents Say
I am beyond thankful to have hired Kate as my doula! I had a rough first pregnancy and delivery, and I wanted to do whatever I could to have a better second experience. I had the most beautiful delivery because of my work with Kate.
She taught me about all of the options I never even knew about when it came to delivery, and supported my birth plan without judgement. She made me feel confident and empowered, and all of our hard work together allowed me to believe I could have a better experience, and I did.
My postpartum experience was wonderful as well, and I believe it was due to my delivery. Even the doctor at my postpartum appointment asked if it was going to be my last baby because it was such a beautiful delivery.

Kate is so much more than a doula.. she’s a new friend you couldn’t have met at a more perfect time. Her love for what she does is overwhelmingly obvious, as she continuously works hard to be educated in all aspects of pregnancy, labor, delivery & postpartum. I interviewed half a dozen doulas before excitedly choosing Kate. We just clicked! With Full Moon, you get so much more. Not only is your doula the best of the best.. but she’s also a prenatal yoga instructor, HypnoBirthing childbirth educator, she offers maternity + newborn photography & aromatherapy packages, just to name a few bonuses you won’t find everywhere.
Kate and I met “on the mat”. During her prenatal yoga classes I bonded with my doula as she taught me more ways to bond with my baby. It was the perfect start.
My husband and I (2 months later) still talk about how overwhelmingly special our entire experience was & how it would not have been close to the same without her. I’m SO happy with how my labor & delivery went and it was wonderful to have my new friend and doula there to support us. The woman knows her stuff! Helped me through the toughest parts of transition.
Being our first baby, we are extremely fortunate to have had such a positive birthing experience. It all went fantastic — from what we could control of course. We 1,000% have Kate to thank. We’ll 1,000,000% have her back for the next one!

Kate being in the room with me as I was laboring and getting ready to bring my baby boy into the world for my first time EVER becoming a mom - was an absolute BLESSING. She was so attentive, so patient, and an absolute warrior and awesome support person who understood what I was going through. I labored for 30 hours without sleeping and she stuck it out with me, keeping me focused and positive. I did not end up having the all natural delivery I planned on due to certain personal circumstances and a lack of mental preparation on my part, yet she did not look at me any differently. I was FREAKING OUT and she was my absolute rock and example of calm and serenity in the room. I truly am blessed to have had Kate as a birth doula. I don’t know what would have taken place if she wasn’t there to support me.
